August of 2012 we unexpectedly found ourselves the caretakers of a wonderful old house in the historic West End of Winston-Salem. I wish I could have started this blog sooner, but the circumstances weren't there. Many people have special connections to this house, and we want to share the adventures involved and hope that others can provide comments and insight that we may not have. This house has never changed families, and Walter hopes to hold on to it so that the tradition can carry on.
